International Amphicar Owners Club's official Internet website, is to certify
that the horsepower of the Amphicar while operating in the water is 9.7 HP @ 3,500 R.P.M.
This figure is based on an exacting engine and
drive train
analysis of this vehicle performed by the Club's Technical Staff in April
2001.
