2010 International Amphicar Swim-in
Celina, Ohio July 21-25
Wed. July 21, 5:30 p.m. - Meet at Casa Rodreguez near the lighthouse, afterwards swim back to the Eagles.
Thu. July 22, 9:30 a.m. - Leave from the Holiday
Inn parking lot to swim at Indian Lake (40 mile drive). You will swim and have lunch
then swim more. Return back at 2:00 p.m. Get a rest.
Fri. July 23, 10:00 a.m. – Meet at the Eagles for the drive over to Otterbein to give rides. For those that do not know Otterbein it is an assisted living community. The Otterbein folks will provide us lunch. 4:00 -6:00 p.m. – Go to any great restaurant and be back at the EAGLES for registration and to pick up your t-shirts and goodie bags. Make sure you eat before 7:00 p.m. At 7:00 p.m. we leave for the hot hole to the lake via police escort. We usually splash into the lake by 8:00 in front of thousands of people. Remember don’t try to come back out of the water at the hot hole till everyone is in the water.
Sat. July 24, 8:00a.m.-? – Swap meet at the Eagles. Go to the car show uptown, there are a lot of nice cars or swim-swim-swim
1:00- 2:00p.m.-Tech session at the Eagles
Time to be announced at a later date for the PARADE LINEUP this year. We will be starting closer to the front with the car show parade this year, which will allow us to get through the parade quicker and start the banquet earlier.
7:00-7:30 p.m. - Dinner and club meeting
Sun. July 25, - Pack up and say your goodbyes have a safe trip home.
